Helping adults, teens, and couples work through
anxiety, anger, and life transitions.

About David Berón
After a 25-year career in film and television, I returned to graduate school to study psychology, earning my Master’s in Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. I completed my clinical training through community internships in North Hollywood and East Los Angeles, where I worked with individuals and families from a wide range of cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.
My own upbringing—American, Colombian, and Venezuelan—has shaped how I understand identity, culture, and belonging. It has also allowed me the privilege of working comfortably with people from many different backgrounds and life experiences. I believe meaningful change begins with understanding the patterns that shape who we are.
Therapy offers a place to explore those patterns with honesty and curiosity, while being supported by another human being who is fully present with you.
A place to understand yourself more deeply
“It is a joy to be hidden, but a disaster not to be found.” — D.W. Winnicott
I believe the process of understanding yourself is also a process of being found. But it takes courage not to go it alone — to lean into painful experiences while in the presence of another.
I hope that through understanding your story, you discover who you truly want to be and what you want from your life

Working Together
I have a passion for helping people experience meaningful transformation — moving toward becoming a more fully realized version of themselves.
Together we’ll explore the experiences that shaped who you are today. We’ll talk about fears, sadness, anxiety, anger, or the places where life feels stuck. Much of our work involves understanding the ways you learned to protect yourself — and discovering which of those strategies still serve you, and which no longer do.
Over time, you may begin to see yourself with greater compassion and clarity.
You don’t have to face this alone
